Cordon Bleu by Michelle Heng


Ingredients
2 pcs chicken breast meat
2 slices ham
4 slices swiss cheese
1 egg (beaten)
4 tbsp panko bread crumbs
1 tsp chicken powder
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp plain flour
Oil

Steps
1. Slice the chicken breast meat into half but do not cut through then flatten the meat with the back of the knife till its about 0.5-0.8cm thick.
2. Top each chicken meat with 1 slice of ham and 2 slices of swiss cheese.
3. Roll the meat as you would like a swiss roll and secure opening and ends with toothpicks.
4. Mix panko bread with chicken powder and plain flour with garlic powder on two separate plates.
5. Dredge the meat with flour then dip into egg and finally coat with panko bread crumbs.
6. Spray a spritz of oil onto the rolled meat and airfry at 200 deg C for 15 mins.
7. Turn and spray some oil onto the meat every 5 mins for even browning.
8. Remove toothpicks and cut meat into slices before serving.
