Desiccated Coconut Fried Chicken by Jumi Tan


Step 1: Place 6 chicken wings (rub salt) into the microwave for 4 mins. Cool off for a while
Step 2: Mix in 1 tablespoon of light soya sauce, pepper and sugar, 1 egg and 4 tablespoon of flour. Marinate for 1 hour
Step 3: Coat the chicken with desiccated coconut
Step 4: In a wok, make sure your oil is hot, place chicken into the wok and turn the heat to small. Fried till golden brown
Small tip: Desiccated coconut get burn easily. By partially cooking the chicken in microwave, it cut down the deep frying time. So tat your chicken will not turn out too dark and dry
