Ingredients
180g butter
160g castor sugar
3 eggs
180g self raising flour
1 tsp of vanilla paste/extract
5 tbsp (75ml) of milk
Pinch of salt
3-5 tbsp Finely crushed Oreo without cream (depending on how dark you want)
A few Oreo Cookies for decoration
Method
Ready your cake tin by placing a parchment paper on the bottom of the tin, coat it with butter and dust some flour for easy remove later.
Preheat oven 180deg
1. Cream butter and sugar till fluffy
2. Add vanilla & add egg one at a time till creamy
3. Add in sifted flour & salt by 2 or 3 portion mix well
4. Final add in the milk
5. Mix till well combine.
6. Separate the batter into 2 part. Keep 1 part as original and the other to mix well with the crushed Oreo.
7. Pour batter into a cake pan, whichever way you like to create the marble effect by using a spectular or fork.
8. Lastly, decorate with Oreo cookies on top of the cake. (optional)
9. Bake at 180degC for 18-20min for cupcakes and 45mins for a whole cake or till brown.
Skew in, come out clean, cake done.
Serve after cooled.
